THE ROLE OF YOUTUBE CHANNELS IN SHAPING SAUDI VIEWERS' VIEWS ON SAUDI PUBLIC ISSUES


This study seeks to identify the role of YouTube channels in forming public opinion towards issues Saudi viewers. The researcher used a sample questionnaire tool 236-strong Saudi single intentional who YouTube channels, as use spss statistical program to process the data collected from the respondents. The study found several results, including:
- circulates hours pursued by Saudi viewers to YouTube channels every week-in order-as follows: 4 to 6 days the highest percentage by 56.4%, followed by daily by 19.9%, followed by according to circumstances by 16.1%, followed by one day by 7.6%.
- Screws came in front of YouTube channels watched by Saudi Viewer by 29.2%, followed by category alfalah by 25.0%, followed by 8:45 by 19.1%, followed by we played on the fly by 6.4%, followed by the less travelled by 5.9%, followed by sober by 5.5%, followed by what 2.5%.
-There is a statistically significant positive correlation between the intensity using the Viewer to YouTube channels and effects on behavior and ideas.
-There is a positive correlation of statistical significance between YouTube channels content interacts with the viewer and free views Political and social.
-There is a positive correlation of statistical significance between YouTube channels content interacts with the viewer and the potential impact on behavior and thoughts.
