This research aimed to identify the role of Jordanian children’s magazines, in presenting values to the Jordanian child («Hatem» Magazine as a model), in addition to identifying the editorial art forms used by these magazines, in presenting the values on their pages. In order to achieve this objective, the research relied on the descriptive approach, using the content analysis method; to analyze content of all editorial materials published in an intentional sample consisting of (12) issues, which were selected according to the month selection application from the issues of «Hatem» Magazine as a model for the Jordanian children’s magazines, based on using the content analysis sheet, which was applied on (548) editorial materials. The research reached a number of results, most notably:
«Hatem» Magazine was concerned with cultivation of a set of values in the Jordanian child, were the aesthetic values came on top, then the theoretical (knowledge) values, while both religious and political values came in the last two ranks of values presented in the magazine.
Journalistic art ranked first among the editorial art forms were used by «Hatem» Magazine, in presenting values to the Jordanian child, followed by literary art forms, while other editorial forms came in the third and last rank.
