DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT REALITY AND ITS IMPACT ON ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AT PALESTINIAN UNIVERSITIES – GAZA GOVERNORATES


This study aims to identify the impact of diversity management on the organizational culture in the Palestinian universities in the governorates of Gaza. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach .

The study designed a questionnaire as a tool for the study, and conducted interviews with the human resources management officials in the targeted universities. The study used the two stage stratified random sampling method. The study population was composed of the administrative and academic staff holding academic positions in the Palestinian universities, namely Aqsa University, Islamic University and Palestine University. Population size was 1212 employees. Thus, 400 questionnaire forms were distributed, and 332 forms were recovered with a recovery percentage of 83%.The study concluded a set of results, including :

 There is a statistically significant relationship at a significance level of a≤0.05 between the dimensions of diversity management and the organizational cultural in the Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates .

 There is a statistically significant impact at a significance level of a≤0.05 for the reality of diversity management on the organizational culture in the Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates.
