THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF ARAB MEDIA PROFESSIONALS IN PROTECTING CHILDREN'S RIGHTS BEFORE AND AFTER TRAINING DURING THEIR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE: A FIELD STUDY ON A SAMPLE OF ALGERIAN MEDIA PROFESSIONALS
this study has been conducted to examine the level of knowledge and skills of Arab Media Professionals in the field of protecting the rights of the child before and after their training during their professional service, through a sample of which consists of a number of Algerian journalists who participated in the "Child Protection Through Media" workshop held in Algeria during the period 25-28/12/2017 with 23 media and Media Professionals who were predominantly females.
The objective of the study was fulfilled through its evaluation methodology based on the pre-and-post-comparison method. The study findings show apparent differences in the level of knowledge and skills of the Media Professionals (sample individuals) in the field of Child Rights Protection in the pre-comparison period and in the post-comparison period in the course of their professional service, in favor of the post-training period.
