(ADDRESSING TERRORISM ISSUES FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF YEMENI MEDIA)


The study aimed at uncovering the nature of media professionals dealing with extremism and terrorism issues through applying them to a sample of media professionals working in the Yemeni media through three topics, the first of which was devoted to the methodological framework of the study. The second topic dealt with the theoretical framework on the relationship between media and terrorism issues, The third topic on analyzing the results of the field study of the communicator in the Yemeni media. And reached several results, notably:

1 – The issues of terrorism are priorities of media coverage of the Yemeni media, and a high rate exceeded 50% of the views of the sample members of the study, and this is a reflection of the wide effects of the phenomenon of terrorism in the international and Arab arena.

2. Terrorist operations continue to be limited in scope and do not exceed the timeframe and geography until they are covered by the media and have an area of ​​news, analysis and live transport that goes beyond time and space. This confirms the contribution of the media to the wide spread of terrorist groups' operations. Relevance
