The study aimed at determining the demographic, social, economic and behavioral characteristics of homosexuals and lesbians and the relation between their sex, motives, and sexual practices through researching a deliberate Jordanian sample of 50 homosexuals who receive the services of some health institutions. These homosexuals volitionally filled the questionnaire. The data of the study were analyzed using SPPS prgramm.
The consensus of homosexuals on sexual repression as the main motivation for their involvement in homosexuality, and the absence of significant differences between homosexuals and lesbians attributed to their levels of education and the names of their jobs and social classes and the number of sexual partners and the quality of the causes of their sexual behavior, There are statistically significant differences between homosexuals and lesbians due to their relationship to economic activity, marital status and sexual status. The results of the study on the level of relations between the characteristics of homosexuals and their sexual behavior showed that homosexual practices are related to their economic activity and marital status and are not related to their levels of education, job titles, social classes, number of sexual partners and the quality of the causes of their sexual behavior.
