PREPARING AND PRESENTING POLITICAL TV PROGRAMS AND THEIR REFLECTIONS ON THE AUDIENCE A FIELD STUDY


Abstract

The study aimed to identify the mechanisms of preparation and presentation of political TV programs and their reflections on the audience. The analytical descriptive was used. The researcher also chose a deliberated sample of (28) faculty members in the universities of Middle East, Zarqa and Yarmouk. The study reached a set of results that can be summarized as follows:

  1. The arithmetic average of the responses of the sample members on the items of the mechanisms of preparation and presentation of the political TV programs was (3.73) which is located at the high level.
  2. There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members in relation to the mechanisms for the preparation and presentation of the political programs and their implications for the receiving audience, due to the academic rank variable.
  3. There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members in relation to the mechanisms for the preparation and presentation of the political programs and their implications for the receiving audience, due to the University variable.

The study recommended accuracy and credibility by the preparation team, as well as the program provider, so that the recipients' attitudes towards these programs are positive, in addition to a set of recommendations summarized by the researcher at the end of his research.
