Abstract:
Our research aims to discover the patterns of social change that have occurred in the Algerian society due to the acceleration in obtaining information and communication technologies and the continuous growth of the use of social networking sites, as it has become clear that change has become an inevitable and inevitable for the Algerian society, and therefore we focus our study on Three areas for measuring change, the first of which are political change, and highlight the results of this study, its relationship to social media, then the role of social networking sites in effecting change at the value level of Algerian society, then we study aspects of the Algerian family's change in light of the use of social media.
Among the most prominent results of this study are the confirmation of the emergence of an alternative virtual social relations system for the traditional social relations system and the emergence of a new pattern of social communication in family circles as well as the emergence of new areas of communication that were not present to individuals in the recent past, as the widespread use of social media sites to build new relationships, and expand The social relations network by forming relationships outside the local and Arab community.
